San Remo winner live in Gozo
Italian singer Marco Carta, winner of the San Remo festival, performed live during a two-hour concert at the Aurora Theatre in Victoria last night.
Carta shot to fame after he won the Italian talent show Amici di Maria de Filippi which ran from October 2007 to April 2008.
The singer won the prestigious San Remo festival last February with the song La Forza Mia, which went on to sell 70,000 copies in Italy in just one week, reaching platinum status.
He is seen above addressing the press during a news conference upon his arrival in Malta yesterday afternoon.

San Remo vincitore live in Gozo
Marco Carta
Italiano cantante Marco Carta, vincitore del festival di San Remo, eseguito dal vivo nel corso di una due ore di concerto al Teatro Aurora di Victoria la notte scorsa.
Carta colpo di fama dopo aver vinto il talent show italiano "Amici di Maria de Filippi che si è svolta da ottobre 2007 ad aprile 2008.
Il cantante ha vinto il prestigioso festival di San Remo lo scorso febbraio, con la canzone La Forza Mia, che è andato a vendere 70.000 copie in Italia in una sola settimana, raggiungendo lo status platino.
Egli è visto sopra rivolgendosi alla stampa durante una conferenza stampa dopo il suo arrivo a Malta ieri pomeriggio..
